Printer AND plotter recommends

Hello -



We're a small design build firm looking for printer & plotter recommends.



Our client base is very high-end residential / studio type stuff., and
increasingly they seem to be into the "touchy-feely" these are my plans!
kind of stuff. (We're not really sure we know if they know what they're
looking at but.)



We currently use a generic cad program but are looking into several AutoCad
products to enhance productivity.



Our needs are: A plotter that plots cleanly and reliably - primarily size
"D" sheets. If this plotter has the capability of producing good quality
renderings - great! If not, we'll augment with an addition
"photo-realistic-type" printer in the 18x24 neighborhood. The drawing
files will be shipped out via the "net," rendered, retuned here, decisions
made, and then shipped onto the client.



Finally, it may be just easier to furnish them a laptop and try do it via
PDF files, but we have no experience there with shipping "rendered" images.
