Print to postscript at A1/A0?

Discussion in 'AutoCAD' started by terencechatfielduk, Sep 12, 2003.

  1. ADT3.3 on Windows 2000, I've set up a postscript level 1 printer, and i'd like to generate from that a .pdf using ghostscript, but the .ps file always without fail just ends up as an a4 size part of the drawing, so consequently the .pdf is always an A4 itself. I've checked using a postscript viewer and its not the ghostscript program, its the postscript printer. Can anyone explain how this is supposed to work for A1/A0 drawings?

Are you processing the EPS file through GSView?

  4. Plotting through GSView? I've heard of it, but don't know anything about it. I've only tried using Ghostscript, i.e GSWin32.exe, which hasn't given the results i'm looking for. Unfortunately, the suggestions of Govert didn't work, and given the hours i've spent trying to make this work, i'm giving up and just using pdf995 instead. Its a lot simpler than continuing to faff around with ps files and scripts for hours on end, even if it does bring up a bunch of pop-up windows, most of which i kill off through a pop-up killer anyway.

Frankly, I'd rather be at the beach. Noosa beach, that is. A nice swim followed by an ice-cream on Hastings Street...
