print scale line weights

    why does the scale line weights not allow me to tick the box sometimes? Sometimes when i want to make a smaller print, say to fit an A4 page it does not allow me to tick the scale lineweights??

    I think AutoCad only allows it when plotting from Layout Space (paper space).
