Any one know if there is a setting or something that changes how this operates. I go in and print a dwg. with a pre set up view. then in the next dwg., when i go in, it doesn't remember the view. it just has extents, window, display and so on. it will remember everything else about the previous dwg, like the plotter, ctb file used, page size and all, just not the view. is there a way of changing this?

    What version of AutoCAD?
Are you saying that you get one drawing set up, plot it, then open another
similar drawing, open the plot dialog, select Print Previous from the the
Named Page Setups, and in doing this it will not use the view used in the
    previous plot?

YES. EXACTLY. I HAVE A VIEW SET UP IN SEVERAL DWGS. EXAMPLE WOULD BE A VIEW NAMED 1. I SET VIEW 1 UP IN A DWG. MABEY AS A WINDOW FOR A WHOLE DWG OR SOMETHING. THEN I DO THE SAME IN A SEPERATE DWG. SAME TYPE OF VIEW. IF I PLOT THE FIRST ONE, AND USE THE VIEW ITS FINE. WHEN I GO TO THE NEXT DWG, AND SELECT PREIVIOUS PLOT, THE REST OF THE SETTINGS ALL COME UP EXCEPT THE VIEW SETTING. I CAN SELECT DISPLAY OR EXTENTS OR WINDOW, BUT VIEW DOSNT COME UP AT ALL. I AM USING VERSION 2005. ANY THOUGHTS?
