Pre-editing dimension text

    Hello All

    Does anyone know if there is a variable that allows pre-editing of dimension
    text before Autocad places the dimension on the drawing. I have some
    drawings that pop up the text editor before the dimension is drawn, and yet
    other drawings plaster in a dimension value immediately. Thanks in advance
    for the help.

    Before you specify your dimension line location do you have the option (at
    the command line) to mtext, text or angle?

    DIMASO variable off? If so, turn it on.
