Is there a way to have the Powerprint Request software recognize greyscale
    images?

We have several scans done on an old Xerox machine, and it scanned them in
greyscale. When you try to print these images out using the Powerprint
Request, it dithers them severely. Dealer says it is because the software
doesn't recognize grey scale images. Sending directly to the KIP via any
other program is the only way to get it to work at the moment, and that's a
bit of a time consuming pain.

What resolution are the scanned images? and what is the format/flavor (for eg. tiff/stripped). Please explain what you mean by 'sending directly to the KIP via other program'.

    Dealer name? version of Powerprint?

Scanned images are 400dpi, tif is the format. By sending directly to the
KIP via other programs, I mean sending it through imaging software, AutoCAD,
anything else other than Powerprint Request. Dealer is Drexel in St. Louis,
version of Powerprint Request is 5.5.96.

eg. tiff/stripped). Please explain what you mean by 'sending directly to the
