"I think that my position is that I can almost always manage
to do what is needed using the trickery which comes with
experience. My frustration stems from the fact that I just
    wish it were easier."

The reality is that mental masturbation is not really
satisfying, rather it is more often than not extremely frustrating.

A true seamless, unified, hybrid modeler should be easy as
    well as fun to use.

To this end, Concepts looks and feels a lot like Adobe
    Illustrator.

Your a&b is a little too restrictive. I feel like I'm taking a personality
poll in a women's magazine (being an actual human, sometimes I get angry,
sometimes I laugh it off). Though inaccurate, since I'm boxed in I'll go
with 'b' because of the symmetry issues and problems with derived sketches
    not behaving well.

  5. We're not "users". SW calls us "partners", but we're more crazy programmers.
So I didn't vote, but I changed the post subject...

That was one of the best slams I've heard in years. Bravo! Forget the
usenet 'LOL' crap - I'll be giggling for the next half hour.

How about curvature control at the ends of splines, by dimension and/or constraint?
