Pointer Problem

    Sorry this may be a dumb question but I am having trouble in SolidWorks
    2005. I click on the line or rectangle tool and the cursor doesn't
    change to a pointer, hence it doesn't snap to grid. Every other tool
    will change to the pointer but not these ones has anyone encountered
    this problem or have any suggestions? Thanks.

    Snap to grid is an option. Look under Grid/Snap.
