Plug Weld

    I recently had a student in my Weldments class ask me if I could show
    her how to do a plug weld basically a square tube or post with a small
    square cut into one of the faces...and another plate on the inside
    which has a plug weld to it...needless to say I couldn't get a flush
    plug weld for her in either weldments or assembly.
