    Hi cadders -

ok - this topic has benn covered many times im sure, but have tried some of the other replied suggestions with average results.
could any1 point me in the direction of a program which can print plot files where one can set the print size. ie. A1 plots in the .plt config can be printed as A3's..etc

    thanks

Have you tried using PDF's fro your output. No only can you then scale your plot, but you have an e-doc for archive/transmittal etc.

    HI,
you have two posibilitys to do so.

    1. Using a viewer
    There are many out there.

    2. Using a RIP software
    Look at this http://www.tgsoft.ch/English/CADRIP.htm
You can plot PLT/TIF and also PDF, with just one Click. No need to
    rotate, or select any papersize.
(Only if you want to scale xx->A2)
    Many steps are done automaticly.

  4. 1. interpret the plot file and then create new print data by printing from
the application that interpreted the plot file (Toni's solution)
    2. hack the file; can be done with HPGL/2 plot files, but you need some
knowledge about HPGL/2 and it is cumbersome; slightly easier with
    PostScript, but still cumbersome.
    3. use PDF or DWF; you need an interpreting program (viewer) anyway and can
print from that in the desired scale/size.
