I PLOT IN MY OFFICE ON A HP 755CM. ARCHITECTS ALWAYS REQUEST PLOT FILES FOR THEM TO BE ABLE TO PLOT OUR DRAWINGS. SOME OF THE ARCHITECTS HAVE A DIFFERENT PLOTTER THAN US AND PLOTS DO NOT COME OUT CORRECT. IS THE PLOT FILE I CREATE A UNIVERSAL PLOT FILE AND COULD PLOT ON ANY MACHINE OR DO I HAVE TO DO SOMETHING WHEN I CREATE THE PLOT FILE (I.E. CONFIGURE A PLOTTER FOR EACH ARCHITECT'S PLOTTERS)

Please, don't SHOUT (turn off your CAPS LOCK key).

PLT is a file naming convention, not a file format. To plot correctly, the
..plt files must be made using the driver for the physical plotter that will
eventually be used to produce the hardcopy.

  3. If all there are doing is reploting, why not try the dwf "plotter", it's a
real handy, we use it alot to send trusss companys and such. all they need
    is a free viewer....
