i have a scenario for someone, we have a plot style set for only plotting in black and i select it, it plots color, the thing is , that all the colors in the plot style dialog are selected to black. i have no clue what to do.

    thank you

  2. You might also check in your layer dialog box and check to make sure that
all your layers are set to pen 7 (black) and not to individual colors. This
has happened to us in the past and fixing that has solved the problem. Hope
    this helps.

  3. Dave,

One other thing to check. If plotting from Model space what is the current
shademode setting? If plotting from a Layout what is the shademode setting
    in the viewports?
If the shademode setting in these places is something other than 2D
wireframe, with the default setting in AutoCAD 2004 it will plot with the
Shade Plot of as Displayed and will ignore the plot style settings.

    Thanks,

well made sure pen was to 7 but we didn't have to worry about b4. the colors were set to black and i don't think that they ever had the pen set to 7, but my preview shows black now., we'll see if it plots right with linewieght and all
