Plotting Wipeouts

Discussion in 'AutoCAD' started by Greg McLandsborough, Jan 14, 2005.

  1. Hi,

I've got Wipeouts in modelspace, which view correctly on the Autocad Screen,
However when I plot, the Wipeouts dont appear to work. I have been
experimenting with the Wipeout, and It appears that a Wipeout
will work on its own, But I have it as part of a block, and it seems that
the inserted Wipeout doesn't plot. Does anyone know if this is a bug, or is
    there a way arround it?

    Any help appreciated

    Regards

    Greg

Any chance you have the wipeout on DEFPOINTS? If you have them there, then
they don't plot, and they also don't mask anything. I put my wipeouts on
layer 0 along with everything else in the block, and I use ImageFrame mapped
to CTRL-I to toggle the frames on and off. I am also thinking about adding
an off toggle to a custom print routine, so I don't have to remember to
toggle the frames off every time I print. I am lazy like that.

    Best,
    Gordon

You might want to turn off the wipeout frames also.
