I received some .plt files from an Architect and use Govert's GoPlot to plot
them to my HP1050C. These particular drawings are 42" x 30" but they are
plotting landscape from the plotter cutting off 6" of the width. Is there a
way to change the orientation of the plotted output or make a reduced size
    copy?

    thanks,
    Dave

    HI,
there are some viewer out there that allow you to open and print HPGL2
    files.
Or you can use RIP...look at this very to use solution.....

    http://www.tgsoft.ch/English/CADRIP.htm

It does autorotate the image, crop white image and also reduce if you want.
    Many steps are done automaticly....

    Hello Dave,
in normal case, CADRIP should ask you on the fisrt run witsch language you
    want...
However...it's is posible to switch to English, without re-installing.

I will send you a registry key by email.....with instructions....
Next time you start, the app run on English.

You also will find in the Install directory a PDF file
    "CADRIP_Quick_guide_en.pdf".
This is a quick install and setup guide on English.

Just one thing...do you know that with CADRIP you can produce an E size
    document at 600 DPI in ~ 2 Minutes ?
Just select "Draft" on speed, and be sure that in the configuration the
resolution is set to 600 DPI...easy....

If you have any question, please let us know.

    Best regards

delve into my English/German dictionary :)
    thanks!
