I have copied and pasted a map on my drawing(in autocad 2005) from map quest. I create a plot file of that drawing. When I plot the plot file, the map I pasted will always shows a totally black box.
Can somebody tell to fix this problem Thanks in advance.

  2. What driver do you use to create the plot file, for what plotter and how do
you send your file to the plotter?

I am using OCE 9700 driver. Actually I send my plot file via email to a printing company (Nova Blue). They gave me the driver to match their plotter. They have other customers that do the same thing and theirs works fine.

  4. If they are a professional plot service and if you use the driver that
they gave to you, we can (carefully) assume that it is not a driver
issue and that it is not caused by how the file is sent to the plotter.
I still wonder whether you use the AutoCAD driver (HDI) or the Windows
driver (system). It might be an image issue. Assuming the map is a
raster image, you could try to insert (attach) the image in your dwg
and/or try another image file format.
