Plotting in "filename.plt" format

    I hope that somebody can help me. I was given a cad drawing in .plt format;however, the file can only be plotted from DOS. My plotter can only print D-size drawings, but the file itself is E-size. When I type the command "copy filename.plt LPT1" from the DOS prompt, only half of the drawing is plotted out. And since I am unable to see the drawing, how can I plot the other half? The CAD nerd that I work with says that there has to be a way to accomplish this, but I think we may have to bring it to someone who has an E-size plotter. HELP!
