Plotting drawings with images...

Discussion in 'AutoCAD' started by Curtis Metcalf, Jun 14, 2004.

  1. ....I am plotting drawings to file (.plt) format and finding that if the
drawings contain any kind of image (.jpg, .bmp, .tif) the plotter
(hp1050c) will stop plotting the file (.plt) when it encounters the
    image portion of the drawing.

Is this a setting somewhere or driver path etc..??

    We need more info, Curtis.

What version of AutoCAD? What's your operating system? What are your system
details? If you plot directly to the HP, do you have the same problem?

  6. You are forgetting the "/b" switch (copy /b filename portname).

Better forget the whole DOS copy method and use a Windows tool that does the
spooling for you. My free GoPlot for instance (download:
