I know it is possible because I've seen it done many times. I need to find out how to plot continuously on a roll of paper. I have an image for a meeting that I need to print, it's approx. 13" x 80". That's at 100%. I can shrink it to 50% to make it fit on 42" paper, but I would love to have it full size. if you know how to do so, please let me know. I've got an HP Designjet 500, using autoCAD 2002.

    I really appreciate your help.

    Thanks
    Nick

Just set up a custom sheet size that's about 82" long, then plot away.

To set up the sheet you have to go to "Start -> Printers and Faxes"and then under File -> server properties you can add a form.
To make sure the plotter can use this, you should make sure that your printer properties say that you are using a roll.
Then you should be albe to select the new paper size as document default.
