Plotting a solid without the wire effect

Discussion in 'AutoCAD' started by Francesco Moi, Aug 7, 2003.

  1. Hello.

    Working on Autocad 2002.

I've got a 3D drawing with some solids, and I can see their texture on
the modelspace and on the paperspace.

But when plotting, there is only the wire frame. I tried selecting
    'hide lines'
on the plotting menu, typing 'DISPSIHL' on the command line, ...

    Any suggestion? Regards.

Hi, you have to be in paper space in viewports, then click on viewport
border to select it like a rectangle, then hit ctrl-1 and set 'hide
    plot' option at the bottom.

  3. Thank you, Paul.

I rendered the image, but I consider the image's a very poor quality
(I tried a 'Fotorrealistic' view, and a 'TIFF 32 bits' format).

Render the drawing, go into Tools->Display Image->Save...
You will have the choice of .bmp, .tga, .tif. You can then bring the
image back into ACAD via the Image command or as an OLE object iirc.
Or you can edit/print it from any photo/paint editor.

    Good luck

Did you set the highest resolution possible?
