It's been a while since I worked in 3D and I can't remember how to hide lines when plotting. Ex: If I was plotting a cube, I want the back lines not to be visible. I used the hide command and it looks the way I want it on the screen but it dosen't plot that way. I thought Dispsilh was the command I was looking for but that don't seem to work either, I'm using 2000.
Also I never really tryed this yet but if I had a drawing with materials attached i.e. concrete tile and wood inlay, can I plot the drawing to show those materials.

Been a while since R2000 but try "MVIEW" on the commad line then "Hide" or
"Hideplot" option. IIRC it has to set for each viewport you are plotting.
Another way in newer versions is setting it in the plot dialog box.
