PLOTTERS

    I am in charge of supplying our Cad Dept. with a new fast plotting plotter. The only hold back is it has to be a 42" that is under $5,200. Can anyone recommend a good plotter. HP, Cannon or anything else?

    HP DesignJet 800 (with HPGL2 included) an all the RAM in the plotter that you can buy.
    Or HP 1050Cplus, witch is faster, but only 36"

    I'll second that. We have an HP DesignJet 500 that works flawlessly.

    Fast plotter with 42" (or bigger) rolls for under $5200??

    Don't know of anything new that fits that requirement. You can't go wrong with HP, but I think you're going to have to up your budget to get what you want.
