plotstamp rtext

    Acad 2002 and Windows XP
    I am trying to modify the plotstamp. I saved the mm.pss as a new file. When I try to open any .pss file, Windows doesn't recognize the application. I tried to open it with Notepad and the text is in code. How can I open these files so that they are readable to possibly modify them?
    Also, I have created an Rtext Diesel string with the information that I would like to see as a stamp. I tried to insert it into the user defined plotstamp field but it doesn't work. Is there a way to use Rtext Diesel as a plotstamp without inserting the text into every file?
