Plots Rotated or Large Portions Missing

  1. We just installed ADT 2004. Every time we send a plot, it comes out either
rotated 90 degrees, or oriented correctly but with about half of the drawing
cut off (way more than what could be affected by margins). Also, regardless
of which way the drawing plots, the plotter spits out about another 16" of
paper beyond the "inked area" before trimming. With ADT 2000, I was able to
plot perfectly laid out 24x36 sheets with no trimming necessary. I have
tried every rotation/landscape/portrait/calibration option I can think of
and have wasted an enormous amount of paper in the process.

We are running Windows XP and have an HP DesignJet 800ps. Any ideas out
there? Our conversion to ADT2000 plotting was a nightmare, I'd love to avoid
having to go through that again this time around. Thanks!

  2. Is the paper size you are plotting to been set to a size larger than the
    margins?

I ran into some troubles with our new plotter with some sheet sizes we had
created. It kept rotating the plot because the sheet size was set to 36 x
    24, instead of 35.61 x 23.34.

This is just a shot in the dark, but thought I would throw that at you.

    Good luck

  3. We have the same plotter and same problem. Had many problems with the driver
    for this one.
Now i use 750C driver, for faster plotting. I havent tried the autorotation
    yet, or cutting problem.
Send complain to HP, maybe they make a new one...
    We have allready done it.
