We are running Autocad 2000i and we have 2 plotters. HP 650c and HP 800.
When we use the plotter config to plot to file on the Designjet 800 it looks
like everything works fine, however when you look at the file it shows 0 kb
in size, nothing is there?!? If we use the Designjet 650 it works fine.
Does anyone have any idea why our plot to file isn't working with the 800?
Regular plotting to the 800 works fine, its the plot to file that never has
    worked. Thanks in advance.

We have a plotter setup that we use to plot out our sheets, papersize,
origin, color table etc. All I mean is we click the plot to file button on
the tab that has the color table and device settings so we can send a plt
file to a consultant or reprographics guy for printing.

  3. I'd install the same plotter again to different name and define the port to
    be File and check then
    if anything is there.
