Plot style differences

I am having difficulty getting the same results from different drawings using the same plot style.

I have a plot style in a directory on the network where we keep all our drawings with shortcuts on the local machines pointing to the network drive directory. All the users have assigned this plot style to their drawings.

The problem I am having is that one drawing will print slightly lighter than the next. This seems to be a random occurance, since the plot style has not changed and it happens if we do individual plots or use the batch plot utillity. A quick fix I found worked for a while (or so I thought) was to change the plot style to none, assign it to all layouts, close the window and go back in and select the desired plot style again and save, then plot the drawing.

The print preview always looks fine.

This worked ok except the next day we had more than a few drawings come up light. This fix is rather time consuming and defeats the benefits of batch plot.

We are running 2000i on local machines using windows 2000, the printer is an HP8150 on a server.

    Any ideas?

    Thanks in advance.
