    Hey everyone,

I have recently been introduced to the RText plot stamp and am quite
    impressed with it's capabilities.

I would like to implement it in all of our drawings, both future and past.
Does anyone have a LISP that will open a bunch of drawings in a folder, add
the RText in a designated location save and close the drawings?? Just so
that I don't have to go through each drawing file manually and add the new
RText to all of the old files.

Thanks for your help on this one.

Even better, look into Fields in Help. Works better than Rtext for
    plotstamps.

Another thing is, Rtext is an Express tool and might be tricky to
    incorporate into a lisp routine.

or you could just turn plot stamp on.

in 2005 its configurable enough to be useful.

and it also requires object-enablers (just nit-picking now).

    Hey Xolo,
Glad i could help a little bit. Sry I haven't replied but it's a very busy day. I had the same problem when we first went to Rtext. Just write a simple script file and inset a block in each one. I had a lisp routine before that could do multi dwg in one shot. I dont remember it's name but i think i got it off of CADdepot.com. Sry i cant be more help on that.
