Plot Program

Discussion in 'AutoCAD' started by Jan van de Poel, Dec 10, 2004.

  1. In the old-days (rel 10 to 14) i used to have my own "multiplot" routine.
Just select some drawings from a dialogue box and the stuff gets plotted.

Nowadays with all these layouts this doesn't work anymore.

Does anyone have a routine that is capable of :
    a - select the drawings
b - select the layouts to plot per drawing
c - set "plot to file"
d - send them all to A3 printer

Or, do you have code or tips how to do it you are willing to share.

    Regards,
    Jan

  4. Have you looked at AutoCAD's batch plot program?

    I did.
    Quite cumbersome.
Takes a lot of effort for every project again.

<Sigh> It used to be soooo easy in the old days.

Autodesk seems to think we always plot the same way, to the same plotter.
I'd think they knew about check plots on laser printers by now!
    What a pain, since R2000!
I finally made a toolbar button with script to do my check printing. It was
    a big help.
