plot paperspace last not working

    I have a drawing in which I need to plot paperspace BEFORE the objects in
    modelspace. In the plot dialog, I have the "Plot paperspace last" box
    UNchecked, and the plot preview looks exactly the way I want my drawing to
    plot. When the plot comes out, however, it is plotted as if the "plot
    paperspace last" box were checked. I have tried several different plotters
    with the same result. I have several other drawings like this that do no
    exhibit this behavior. Does anybody here know what is causing this & how to
    stop it?
