I have had major difficulties trying to get the lineweights to plot to an HP Designjet 755cm. I can plot lineweights to the HP2500C connected to the computer but when I use the network printer and try to plot to the 755, i can not get lineweights. Please help with suggestions, I think I have tried all settings, or refer me to someone who can help with this at the least?

I have the plotter pen settings to software. i have used the layers, lineweights by objects, etc, that I can think of. I must be missing something simple, either on the plotter or the ACAD setup. any help would be greatly appreciated.

Skip whatever PC3 file you use, plot directly to the Windows driver, see if that helps.

    Polylines or regular lines?

If Polylines, try changing them to zero width and see if this will make a
    difference.

Also, make sure the ctb file says that the lineweights are by object. If
you have a line weight shown in the ctb file, that will be dominant over any
weight by object in the drawing.

Check the line weight to make sure that it is wide enough to be noticeable
on the larger sheet of paper in the 755C.

Print out a small section of a full size drawing on your 2500C, at a scale
of 1:1 and compare it to the same scale and section of a plot on your 755C.
    See how they compare.
