I received .plt files via e-mail and have no idea of how to start plotting them, we have an HP design jet 700,if anyone could please walk me thru the process, I would really appreciate it,I'm in a time crunch.
    thanks

    Hi Victor,
there are some free tools available.

    Look at this.

    http://www.tgsoft.ch/English/sendit.htm

This is a simple transmission tool, with a small analyzer thats give you
some informations about the PLT file. If on FileType it show you "HPGL2" or
"HP-RTL" then it should work fine with the HP700.
If on Resolution it show "600" DPI then the PLT file was created for a newer
model, and you may get a corrupted output.

    Regards
    Toni
