I am trying to plot dwg directly to our OCE plotter without having to create plts.
    But I have two problems:
1- How do I set reprodesk to read the ctb file (we have more than one ctb for use with consultants). or is there a way to convert *.ctb to *.pen?
2- Is there a way to print the text created by the rtext.arx?
    Thanks.

  2. When using Repro Desk without AutoCAD on the system, DWG files are handled
using ObjectDBX. Our ObjectDBX solution does not handle the rtext.arc
application. Only AutoCAD can load and execute ObjectARX applications such
as rtext.arx. The new Repro Desk Server 1.6 allows for AutoCAD to do the DWG
processing instead of using ObjectDBX. Yes this means that you need a copy
of AutoCAD on your Repro Desk machine, but we have found that most
reprographers have AutoCAD already. The result is true plotting the way
AutoCAD would have done it because AutoCAD did do it.

for use with consultants). or is there a way to convert *.ctb to *.pen?
