As a new Solidworks user I've found a lot of really good, helpful
information on this forum but it's getting harder filter out the irrelevant
unmitigated crap posted by a few individuals. A list of bullshit artists
to filter would be helpful in culling the crap from the useful stuff.

    Any more recommendations?

I access this NG vai Google. I was just trying to figure out if they
had a "block" feature for 2 of 3 reasons mentioned above.

It seems there were a few dry spells without them Maybe it is related to the
School Year cycle probably junior high. There are some who believe they are
someone's manic episodes jumping back and forth at himself. Did you ever
    see fight Club? Great movie.

In Outlook Express, Message> Block Sender works well.

  6. I forget that a lot of people look at this NG through google and have to
deal with EACH AND EVERY POST - in outlook newsreader, you can just scan for
the threads that look like real information. The NG rarely registers in my
mind as 'negative' because I just skip over that junk. As a matter of fact,
I have been encouraged with how useful it has been over the last few weeks.
I'm sorry that others aren't seeing it that way... I sure hope they don't
    leave...
I've long imagined that they were ex-lovers that broke up badly. You need
that kind of pain to explain Cliff dogging Jon so tenaciously day after day
after day, stalking him from one NG to another. In my version of things Jon
broke it off, or maybe was unfaithful? That explains why Jon has stopped
responding to Cliff - he's not the 'wronged' party, and is trying to move
    on.

(BTW- sorry about the anology, Cliff, Jon, because in the midst of all of
the vitriol I have actually learned useful things/insights from both of you.
Imagining the love-afair-gone-wrong just makes the nasty stuff so much more
entertaining when it interferes with the real contribution you are capable
    of)

If others in this newsgroup want to understand SolidWorks like you do,
then they need to learn how to think more like you do.
