Ping plotter, but plot dislog says "Test failed"

    Greetings All,
    I have got a prolem here. I cannot plot to my hp800. Usta could. I have a new system with XP Pro and adt3.3. I set up a tcp/ip port to plot to the plotter through the hub. I can even ping the HP800. When I go to plot to it though the plot dialog box says "Test Failed" and has me choose another print device. Then the HP800 disappears from the possibilities. I can print a test page to it OK via the window system printer. There is more but does any of this sound familiar to any one?
    Any help appreciated,
