Feeling kinda stupid here... actually, I should. I am the "new guy" trying
to get a foot in the door with AutoCAD 2006. Believe it or not, I have
several clients I can do business with right now, begging me to do work for
them! (This come mainly from a previous business relationship that had
nothing to do with CAD work). Remarkably, two of these clients are willing
to purchase AutoCAD 2006 for me, no charge! (I suggested they could split
the cost, they were in agreement).

Problem is, I have NO experience with AutoCAD and am finding the training in
their "certified" training centers a bit pricey! I am sure they are worth
it, but I simply do not have the funds to acquire such training.

I was wondering if anybody had suggestions as to the quickest and most
economical method of training on AutoCAD. I have found the "AutoCAD 2006
Essentials" training material for $60.00 and was thinking this would at
least give me some fundamental training.

    Any better suggestions? Help please?!

    A. Local vocational school
    B. Visit your local bookstore, look for 'Mastering .... " or "....Complete
Reference" titles. They have step by step how to's.
