One of my routines frequently operates in large drawings and which draws
large amounts of text and I was having a display problem that I needed to
source. So I tried the routine in v2004 and learned it was not a version
problem -- but I learned something else.
What may not interest you is that I have four timers within that routine
that report to a text file which I seldom look at. For some strange reason
I browsed both those reports, the ones from running in 2004 and 2005, and
found the following that I thought I'd share:

    Ver. 2004 Ver. 2005

Text Area Calc 34.5 Sec 34.6 Sec

Closed Area Calc 63.5 Sec 96.0 Sec

List Sorting 4.0 Sec 136.0 Sec

    On-Screen Printing 48.5 Sec 50.4 Sec

    Totals 150.5 317.0

I realize that caching on today's computers makes benchmarking difficult and
seems to allow a second trial to run faster. What makes the above results
notable is that Ver. 2005 was the second test.
