A quick question. I print out blueprints at a local copier place and they
use the oce 9800 I believe. Basically when I print the plans out, I need for
a certain layer to stand out and be darker than all the other ones. The
background layers can even be very light. I believe it has something to do
with the pensettings, but I'm not sure on what exactly needs to be done. Any
information or pointers in the right direction would be extremely helpful.
Thank you in advance for you help.

You need to set up a plotstyle, (.ctb or .stb), that assigns a dark, wide
color, (pen), to whatever color/layer you want to stand out. Do the same for
lighter layers, just set them to a lighter/thinner pen. Much more that this
takes a step by step lesson on using plotstyles, which is really beyond the
    scope of these newsgroups.
