What problems have all of you encountered in setting up PDMWorks. We
are just about to make the jump from AutoCAD to Solidworks, but I want
to make sure we aren't going to have too many headaches. I have used
Solidworks before at another company but we didn't really have a PDM
solution. What pitfalls did you guys find? What is the best way to
    setup PDMWorks?

There is only one way that works and that is to have a departmental meeting.
Sort out what you are hoping to gain from Pdmworks and then get your Var to
    set it up for you.

Also get everyone who uses Pdmworks to go on a Pdmworks training course or
    have on-site training.

If you do decide to try to set pdmworks up yourselves, you will encounter
    many problems later on.
Your solidworks users will not understand anything and will end up pulling
    their hair out.

I know this from experience!(

Pay the money and sleep peacefully at night!)
