PDMworks Question

I thought I'd try the NG since my VAR has been pretty useless so far.

I know PDM works allows you to search using SWX properties, my question
simply is, can
it also do the same for Autocad files?

Does anyone know of software that can handle both platforms?

I'm no ACAD guru, but I think if the ACAD information was stored in
the FILE PROPERTIES area of the file as Custom Properties you might
have a chance.

 

We use CONISIO that handles SW & ACAD well. It also handles MSWord,
MSExcel, etc.

Oh, not a clue - I'm an engineer! I just use it... And I suppose even
if I knew, your price may not be the same.

No problem Wayne, how many seats of it do you guys have and how long have
you been using it. I just got a call
from my VAR and they just started offering the product this month.

 

We have 100-150 people accessing it with probably 15 SolidWorks people. We
started about 3 years ago.
