Anyone have experience with Windchill PDMLink?

I am looking at a pdm package for our small engineering group, but want
non-cad users to be able to use pdm as well for both viewing and document
workflow. I have seen 3 packages that I like: PDMLink, Smarteam (Dassault
Systemes), and ProductCenter (from SofTech). Anyone have experience with any
of these packages? I would appreciate any comments (positive or negative)
you have; or any recommendations for other pdm software.

    Thanks in advance.

Mechanical CAD data is ProE and AutoCad. PCB/Schematics are Cadence. We may
want to add Solidworks data in the future.
We have a lot of other documents (Word, excel, pdfs, microcontroller program
files, etc.) that also need to be handled by the system.
Almost anything would be better than the kludgey "Document Control" method
we use now. (zip up the ProE files and put them in a numbered folder on the
    server).
