PDF strangeness

Discussion in 'SolidWorks' started by Lee Bazalgette - Factory, Feb 2, 2005.

  1. Hi All,

Does anyone else see some strangeness with the Blue Beam PDF writer? In
particular, sometimes my drawing borders come out with really thick lines
and sometimes they come out with the correct thickness of lines, but I cant
find a way to repeast is as an error, it's just random. Any clues?

    Thanks.

Using 2005 I've had the same problem. It was OK in 2004. It seems
random. Changed my drawing frame line weights from normal to thin and I
thought I had cured it only to find it back again. I also loose the
colours in my 2D drawings (slddrw) on shaded views; it all goes a mucky
brown. Just don't have the time to experiment and resolve this issue so
I'm back to using Adobe Acrobat writer. Hoping a future service pack
will correct this unless anyone has a workaround?

Same problem over here, SW drawing exported to PDF using Blue Beam or
Acrobat assigns randomly different line thickness to dimension lines. This
    is new in sw2005
