We currently use Win2PDF to create pdf's from AutoCAD. The only drawback of
Win2pdf is that during batch plotting one must sit at the computer to name
each produced PDF. What other pdf creating platforms are available out
    there?

    Thanks!

  2. Check out our AcroPlot software at www.cadzation.com. It has just about all
the features you could ever want for creating PDF files from AutoCAD.

    I don't see the "don't ask for name"option anywhere in Win2PDF. I don't see
it either in PDF995. I'm looking under properties for both. What other PDF
creation programs are out there that do have the option?

I have been experimenting with both CutePDF and PDF995. I get good results
with both except for one thing. Arrowheads from leaders do not plot out when
screening is set to 100. I can set screening to a lesser value, but then the
colors get all screwed up. I can see that the arrowhead object is recognized
during the plot because anything beneath where the arrowhead technically
exists is invisible, similar to what happens when you put a wipeout frame
    over an object.

Anyone experienced this and have a workaround?

.... a different color for your arrowheads, perhaps?

  6. James,

If you want to etransmit your drawings and ctb files over to me I'll run
them and see what our software does to them. We've tested it with all the
AutoCAD sampels with the screenings with no problems and even have the lines
merge working now in our new Pro version.
