I am having trouble trying to plot a drawing to PDF. I have one particular drawing that is not behaving itself. All my other drawings will convert correctly except this one, which has a cropped image attached in model space. The print preview looks normal but the PDF created by the plot process is incomplete - it misses the end third of the drawing off! I am trying to plot to an A1 size sheet (which usually works) but it will only create a full picture using an A3 size sheet.

Somebody help me before I throw my computer out of the window.

I also have problems only with some files. Lately the problem has been a drawing that has aerial photos (tifs). They publish to pdf great and look good in Adobe, but when I print it in Adobe, no picture prints - only the lines. Any ideas. I'm using AutoCAD2004 and Adobe Acrobat Pro 6.

  3. Try reducing the Resolution of the PDF Driver. AutoCAD 2005 appears to have
a lower width*height*resolution value than 2004 or it may just be that you
just don't have the memory required. A cropped image is going to process
differently from AutoCAD to PDF than a non cropped image.

  4. Try using the Print As Image in Adobe. It's listed under the Advanced
button in the lower left corner of Adobe's print dialog. Or you may need to
add more memory in your plotter.
