PDF format with AutoCAD2004

    Has anyone tryied to convert an AutoCAD2004 drawing to a PDF file?

    no, but you can set up an adobe postscript2 printer using add-a-plotter wizard (the drivers are included in Autocad) and download the ghostview products (do a google - they are free with a little nag). also - take a look in the print-plot newsgroup - do a seach for pdf and or ghostview, you'll find lots of info if you go back far enough.

    yes,

    I had some problems with textmask... but they have been resolved.

    I use a program called ScanSoft Paperport 9.0 to create my 2004 drawings into a .PDF file. It works well and has many other uses around the office. Look in to it, you might find it quite interesting.
