We have a Windows 2000 workstation setup as our print server and then use LPR to print to this print server so that we don't use up the 10 concurrent users for sharing. Hence, why we don't use UNC or shared printing. The problem I have is when setting up a PC3 on a local machine, I am not seeing any of the LPR ports in the list of available ports. I know the port is on the local machine, because the Windows printer is using this port. I have tried selecting the option "Show all Ports". There is the option to "Browse Network", but I would have to assume going over UNC would take up a connection to my print server that is really a workstation. So that isn't going to work, because I have more than 10 users in the office. Any insight is greatly appreciated. Thanks
