paper frame in layout hidden under image

  1. Hello,

I've 2 problems with plotting a huge drawing with a big raster image.
In layout I want to see the paper-frame to position the drawing so that
I can plot the part I want to. The Image is always much bigger than the
paper and therefore I can't see the frame. The only solution at the
moment is to move or zoom the whole drawing, so that the image
disappears while moving. Then I can guess where to move it.

How to hide all parts of the drawing that are outside the paper frame or
move the frame on top of everything so that it is visible?

The other problem is with scale. If I want to plot a scale of 1:100, I
have to set the paper size in inches!! Why does this appear??

    Thanks in advance!
