[OT] Installing SolidEdge

    Hi,

    I apologize for my post, I know you're talking about SolidWorks but I
    can't find a general CAD group. Please, if you can't answer to my
    question tell me another news group I may try.

    I downloaded the SolidEdge Free version and I attempted to install it.
    The installation wizard aborts immediately because it doesn't find the C
    unit. Actually, I don't have a C unit (my sistem drive is D: ).

    I'm sure they haven't made a software with a so big limitation. Note the
    full version has a price greater than 2500 euro!

    I wrote to the software house but I have received no answer.
    Please, might you give me any advice about how to install the cad into
    my pc?
