    Hello from Italy!

    Sorry for my OT.
I need a check of the grammar of a official phrase for a letter:

XXXX inc. had checked, for YYYY inc., some key points of the final design of
the structures of the Machine according to YYYY inc.
quality procedures. After XXXX inc. had finished the verification all the
documents were given back to YYYY inc. as agreed.

    Is that grammatically correct?

    Thanks a lot!

  2. That first sentence is too long and poorly formed. Break it up like:

XXXX Inc has conducted a check of the machine as requested by YYYY Inc.
The check of key points of the machine final design was conducted
according to the quality procedures of YYYY Inc. After completion, all
of the documents were returned to YYYY Inc as agreed.

Some wording could be cleaned up, depending on the details of the
situation. 'as requested by YYYY' might be 'per the contract with YYYY
Inc.' (referring to the specific contract, if there was one) to clarify
the justification and scope of the work done.
