In DOS I ran a text file to change keyboard designation ie keyboard "insert" to INT, "home" to MID etc. Is there a way to do similar in windows 2000 AutoCAD 2004.

Look in your online Customization Guide for "Accelerator
    keys"

Using the "customize dialog box" does not allow you to apply commands to F10,F11,F12,INSERT,HOME,PG UP,DELETE,END & PG DOWN keys. Is there a way to assign commands to these keys.

Who said anything about the "customize dialog box"? I don't know how to make it any more simple, read up on "Accelerator Keys" in the online "Customization Guide" This will explain how to do it.

This is what I use in my menu and this works fine. edit the acad.mns file and scroll down to ***ACCELERATORS and type something similar.
