operation in textstring

    Hi,
    Any body help me?
    I have a layer include a thoundsand entity is mtext with
    content(textstring) is a number.
    i.e "123", "126"...
    How can i treat its content as a number and calculate a operation
    plus?
    i.e 123 - 100 become 23, 126 - 100 become 26...
    Could you help me a solution with a thoundsand entity like that?

    Are you trying to write a LISP routine, or do you hope that this is possible
    from
    standard AutoCAD?
