Opening files... viewing details rather...?

    This is an easy one I hope.? I just got an update to XP windows
    operating system (and still using autocad 2002) now when I open a
    drawing the dialog window displays the files as icons which then forces
    me to switch to the view to "details" using the view pull-down. I
    understand this is not a problem in 2004 Cad but I am not going there
    for sometime yet... Can anyone help me???
